1. Use "Windows 10 Apps & Features" to Uninstall the .NET1.1 installation.

2. Reboot your computer.

3. Download this .NET deep-cleaning utility. Be sure to select the ".NET Framework 1.1" option pull down under "Product to cleanup".

4. Reboot your computer.

5. Start Kitlog.

6. If / when prompted to download and install .NET 3.5 (2.0): Accept and let it do the install.

7. Successfully start Kitlog now.

   Windows 10 ONLY INSTALLATION

1. Make sure you are logged in as Administrator (very important).

2. If you are installing Kitlog over the top of an existing installation or are moving to a new computer, locate your existing Kitlog database file on the OLD computer and make a backup copy of it onto a thumb drive or other external device:

   c:\Program Files\aeroware\Kitlog Pro v2.0\kitlog.mdb

3. Run the setup.exe from the installation CD OR Download this installer:

      ==> http://www.kitlog.com/dls/kitlogpro.exe (DOWNLOAD VERSION)

   or

      ==> http://www.kitlog.com/dls/kitlogcd.exe (CD VERSION)

   !!! Override the default installation folder of:

      ==> "c:\Program Files\aeroware\Kitlog Pro v2.0\"

   Instead install in the following location instead:

      ==> "c:\Kitlog Pro v2.0\"

4. Go the Kitlog installation folder and find the Kitlopro.exe application:

      ==> c:\Kitlog Pro v2.0\kitlogpro.exe

   1. Right-click on the "kitlogpro.exe" and select Properties.

   2. Select the "Compatibility" tab.

   3. Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3.

   4. Select "Run this program as administrator.

5. Start Kitlog and click on the Register button at the bottom of the main dialog and enter in your registration information as necessary...

6. Close Kitlog.

7. If migrating from an old computer installation, close Kitlog, and then copy the following file from your OLD computer to the NEW computer:

   c:\Kitlog Pro v2.0\kitlog.mdb

8. Make sure that you are always logged in as Administrator when you use Kitlog.

9. (The default Windows 7/8/10 installation doesn't have the legacy Windows Help Utility WinHlp32.exe installed. This utility is no longer bundled with Vista and later versions of the Windows OS.)

10. Download and run this update:

       ==> http://www.kitlog.com/dls/klsetup.exe

11. If upon starting up Kitlog, you receive an error dialog, that says: "Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your setup"
    1. Use "Windows 10 Apps & Features" to Uninstall the .NET1.1 installation.

    2. Reboot your computer.
